Srinagar April 8 (KNO) : The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir led by Senior Party Leaders and Legislators visited residence of slain CRPF Personnel Nissar Ahmad Wani at Bagwanpora Veerinag today and offered heartfelt condolences to bereaved family.

The slain CRPF personnel and his colleague lost their lives at Hillar Kokernag when they came under heavy stone pelting, as a result, both the personnel met with an accident and died instantly. G.A. Mir was accompanied by Legislators Mohd Amin Bhat, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Senior Leaders Mohd Iqbal Mir, Farooq Ahmad Bhat and offered heartfelt condolences to bereaved family. On this occasion Congress Leaders led by G.A. Mir expressed profound grief over the loss of two CRPF personnel and described it as tragic and unfortunate appealing the people especially youth to restore calm, as that the killing of innocent persons cannot be justified by anything.

They reiterated that blood shed must end in the larger interest of peace and stability, they added. They spent some time with the family of slain personnel, consoled them and prayed for their courage to bear this irreparable loss. Expressing solidarity, G.A. Mir shared the grief with the family and prayed for eternal peace to departed souls.(KNO)
